My nephew Josh (Morey's oldest son) got married earlier this month to a young lady named Ashley. Meanwhile, the Castro family is anxiously awaiting the arrival of our baby girls during October!

Great friends and family threw me a baby shower for the twins, it was so much fun, and we had such a good time! I feel blessed and loved.

June/July 2011

Mateo's 2nd b-day - It was difficult to get a good picture of Mateo, he was so busy running around and having fun!

We enjoyed visits from Megan & family, as well as Doug & family in the months of June and July. Also, Cristian's cousin Alexis & family came to visit us during July. Cristiancito & Ashley performed well at their piano recitals. We took a couple of short vacations/getaways to Wyoming and Henderson, NV with Cristian's cousin.

I was happy to be able to attend Doug & Dora's sealing to daughter Harper in the Albuquerque temple. It was a special day.

Ashley's spring dance recital, she did great!

The week before Memorial Day we headed down to Southern California, had a blast at the beach, Legoland, and in San Diego. Our nephew and niece, Tony & Francisca came on this trip with us, we all had a great time!

April 2011

Cristian traveled to China (Beijing & Shanghai) this month with the Executive MBA program from the University of Utah, they toured businesses, and got to visit some tourist sites, he was gone for 2 weeks. When he returned he graduated from the program, we are so proud of all his hard work! 

March 2011

March was a quieter month for us, Alison had major morning sickness, so wasn't really up to doing muchmore than keeping up with the kids and work. We continued to be elated at the thought of having twins, and were anxious to find out their gender, which of course we later did - two girls!

February 2011

Cristiancito continues to take Chinese immersion at school this year. The school celebrates Chinese New Year, and has a lot of fun activities for the kids. 

January 2011

The fun continues in January of the new year, the 4th graders at Ashley's school had the opportunity to take a skiing field trip, I went along on the trip, it was great fun for all these kids.

 Cristiancito enjoys his Christmas gift from Santa, basketball, he loves it. Mateo of course likes to play right along side.

 Cristiancito gave Karate a try, but then decided it was not for him, he will stick with basketball. In the photo just below Cristian decided one day to make a special doghouse for Mashi, he had fun doing that.

December 2010

December was a busy but fun filled month, as it is for most families. We enjoyed many holiday activities, and a beautiful Christmas season with family and friends. Ashley had her holiday dance recital and did a great job with that. Myself and a couple of other friends threw a baby shower for our good friend Marla & baby Kaylie, it was great fun! Doug, Dora & family came to visit us the week after Christmas and once again we all had a blast together. It was fun to have them here for my birthday, and play in all the snow that fell. A huge snow storm hit the same day they were heading back to Albuquerque, it was a bit scary to watch them leave, but luckily they made it home safe.
